Taxiway & Runway Resurfacing Project 2023
The Pitt Meadows Regional Airport will be undertaking a taxiway and runway resurfacing project this spring and summer to rehabilitate the degrading asphalt found on multiple airfield surfaces throughout the airport.
The resurfacing process will include milling, base repairs, repaving, and line painting.
This project will consist of a taxiway phase and a runway phase that will be spread out over the course of four months.
During this project, it’s important that our airport users regularly check NOTAMs and bulletins for information on routing and airfield surface closure details.
The following areas will be resurfaced as part of the project as outlined on the map below. The dates listed are tentative and may be shifted based on any construction delays and/or weather anomalies.
- Taxiways Foxtrot, Delta, Echo, Bravo, and Charlie (April 24th - May 13th)
- Runway 26L/08R (August 8th - August 26th)
