Fire Inspections
Pitt Meadows Airport Society and Pitt Meadows Fire and Rescue Service have agreed to a self-inspection process for all general aviation hangar owners.
Self-inspections are required to be submitted annually by May 31st. Complete online or download a hard copy using the links below.
AVOP (AIRSIDE VEHICLE OPERATORS PERMIT)
AVOP/AVOP-D is a requirement for all individuals driving airside. These documents are available for submission below. Please submit the paperwork and current PHOTO (no glasses or hats) and airport administration will contact you when ready for pick up & payment.
Photo ID– (no vehicle gate access; used for flight school students, contractors or longer-term visitors) Complete the “General Information” form and await approval, then arrange for card pick-up. 2-year renewal term- $10.50 (inc. GST). A YPK issued photo ID is required for airside access.
New & Renewed AVOP’s– ALL applicants are to update their general information form and complete a new exam at time of initial application and/or renewal (the program created, has ensured that not all exams are the same). This keeps us all up to date with the latest rules and regulations. This program will allow a 5 year renewal term for your cards- $52.50 (inc. GST).
For all NEW applicants please ensure that we have an initial confirmation for your request from someone currently enrolled at YPK (ie: leaseholder, employer, flight schools, etc.).
To make appointments for an AVOP-D test, please call the office during business hours to arrange.
Payment for your cards can be made on this website under the “Make a Payment” tab where you will receive a generated receipt upon completion.
